Miscellaneous
I think nearly everyone when they are young is fascinated by nature and their surroundings. This is especially true of the sky, the weather, and the heavens. It takes a long time to loose the awe and wonder of something as spectacular as a rainbow, and as adults this feeling sometimes creeps back. What ever your age your awe for nature can only be enhanced by understanding what you see, and there are many resources to help you do that in books and other web sites. I also have some tips for finding the wonderful sights in the sky as often and easily as possible.
Observing Many beautiful atmospheric optical phenomena are more common than you would expect. The trick to seeing them is to know under what conditions to look, and where.
